Network assessment and Wi-Fi survey
An on-site visit to measure coverage room by room, find dead spots and interference, and review your router, internet connection and existing wiring.
Airspace Systems is an independent IT consultancy. We find out why your Wi-Fi drops out, design a network that covers every room, then configure, test and hand it over, with full admin access left with you.
Free initial consultation and a written quote before any work starts.
Independent advice and hands-on configuration for home and small-business networks. We plan around your property, your internet connection and how you actually use it.
An on-site visit to measure coverage room by room, find dead spots and interference, and review your router, internet connection and existing wiring.
A written design for your villa, apartment or office: where each access point should go, the wired backbone that connects them, and what each room needs.
Setting up the network properly from day one:
We plan where wired network points should run, arrange for the cabling to be installed, and check that every point is terminated, labelled and tested, so access points get a stable wired connection rather than relying on wireless mesh.
Speed and coverage testing in every room, and a written record of your network. You keep the owner and admin access.
Already have a network that struggles? We review what's there, recommend what to keep and what to change, and remain available for advice after the work is done.
You know the scope and the cost before anything starts.
Message us on WhatsApp with your property type and what isn't working.
We visit, measure coverage and look at your existing setup.
A design and a fixed written quote with the full scope. Nothing proceeds until you accept it.
The network is set up and secured to the agreed design.
Every room is checked for coverage and speed, and any issues are fixed.
You get a network record and full admin access, and we walk you through the app.
Common projects, explained in plain English.
For new homes, renovations or a fresh start, we measure the signal in every room, find what will block it (thick walls, distance, crowded Wi-Fi channels) and plan where each access point (a small Wi-Fi unit on the ceiling or wall) should go. Each one is cabled back to the gateway/router, so speed doesn't drop from room to room.
Result: strong, steady Wi-Fi in every room, including those furthest from the router.
For networks with dead spots, drop-outs or ageing equipment, we review what's already there, keep what works and upgrade the rest: the access points, the gateway/router (the box that connects your home to the internet) and its firewall (the built-in filter that blocks unwanted traffic from outside). Extra access points are added only where coverage is still weak.
Result: fewer drop-outs and better coverage, building on what you already have.
For small offices: wired desks, separate staff and guest Wi-Fi, shared printers and a properly configured firewall. For home workers: work devices get priority (the fast lane), so video calls don't compete with streaming and gaming.
Result: dependable connections for calls and cloud work, in the office or at home.
We tighten the gateway/router's firewall, turn on the strongest Wi-Fi encryption your devices support, and put smart-home gadgets (cameras, doorbells, smart speakers) on their own separate network, so a problem with one can't spread to your laptops and phones. The devices children use, such as phones, tablets, TVs and games consoles, can have their internet access fully managed and restricted where needed: age-appropriate website and app filters, time limits and bedtime schedules, all controlled by parents from a phone app.
Result: a safer home network, with parents in control of what children can reach online.
We work across all areas of Abu Dhabi, from Saadiyat Island, Yas Island and Al Reem Island to Khalifa City, Al Raha and the city centre.
Villas in the UAE often have thick block walls, multiple floors and a single router in a cupboard. Wi-Fi signal falls away quickly through walls, so rooms far from the router get a weak, slow connection. The fix is usually several well-placed access points with a wired connection back to the router.
Wi-Fi 7 gives more headroom for fast fibre plans and newer phones and laptops, and handles busy homes better. Wi-Fi 6 is still very capable for most households. We recommend whichever fits your connection, your devices and your budget, and explain why in the proposal.
Wireless mesh is quick to set up but each hop loses speed. Access points connected by network cable give full speed in every room and are much more stable. Where cabling isn't practical we'll design the best wireless option.
The site assessment takes about an hour. Most homes are configured and tested within a few hours once the agreed scope is ready. Larger villas or offices may take longer, and the timeline is stated in your quote.
